Description:

Bridge Hill House is a new exclusive property set in historic grounds. Our focus is to provide a good night's sleep and a delicious breakfast for our guests in luxury surroundings. There are four double guest rooms; two offering spacious suites with sumptuous beds. All are decorated in contemporary style with pampering extras and have superior en-suite bathrooms. We offer a wide choice of breakfast dishes, freshly cooked to order, enjoyed in our stunning breakfast room or terrace taking in the tremendous panoramic view over the valley. There is a large stylish and comfortable guest lounge with views over the surrounding town and countryside. The setting offers a quiet relaxing environment that we think you will find reenergising. Bridge Hill House is the perfect location for visiting Derby and the Peak District and the Derwent Mills World Heritage Site. We are a 15min walk from the train and bus station and conveniently located on the edge of the historic mill town of Belper. A five minute walk and you are at the beautiful horseshoe weir on the river Derwent looking towards the splendid River Gardens, here you can hire a rowing boat or just enjoy the peaceful Victorian gardens. Next to the weir is the Strutt North Mill, a popular tourist attraction central to Belper's history. Within a 5 to 10 minutes walk from Bridge Hill House there are numerous friendly pubs and restaurants offering a wide choice of cuisines. The centre of town where there are more pubs, restaurants and the main shops is not much further.
