In the Footsteps of the Pentrich Rebels of 1817 (Alfreton)


Length & Grading: 3 miles, easy.


This guided walk follows in the footsteps of the rebels in 1817, visiting places associated with the Rising. The walk combines an urban walk on pavements, taking us into Alfreton's historic centre, and along paths in Alfreton Park. (No stiles).


Starting Point: Abraham Lincoln Library / Masonic Hall, Derby Road, Alfreton DE55 7AU. On road parking is possible in the streets behind the Library/Masonic Hall. Grid Ref 407 551.
