About

During the spring and early summer, you will find one of Derbyshire’s finest collections of rhododendrons and azaleas. The spectacular colours stretch for approximately three and a half acres across woodland areas, with access paths for visitors to wander through. The gardens also include many rare trees, shrubs, and alpine plants.

Additional facilities

The Tea Garden Café offers a range of  tea and coffee together with scrumptious  cakes making the perfect tranquil setting for a spot of lunch after your tour around the beautiful gardens. 

An onsite plant shop with a wide variety of plants reflecting the gardens contents of Rhododendrons & Azaleas.

There are toilets on the site, including a toilet for the disabled. They are located in the wooden building by the entrance.

Look out for the events and the Annual Music Day for a special treat.
