Travelling to Amber Valley

Travelling to Amber Valley by road is straightforward, with excellent links connecting the area to major cities and surrounding regions. The A38 runs through Amber Valley, providing a direct north-south route between Derby and the M1, while the A610 links to Nottingham, offering easy access from the east. The A6 runs alongside the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site, often called the National Heritage Corridor. This route follows the River Derwent, connecting Derby to Matlock.
